Meet Our Therapist:

Hero Super Paws

Hero Super Paws (Hero to her friends) is an Italian Spinone. She is very chilled, loves cuddles long walks and her toys - she is not so keen on a bath!

Hero is a large dog, she does shed hair and occasionally drools. We appreciate she may not be the right therapy animal for all clients. If you are interested in having a therapy session with a different type of animal visit Animals in Mind.

Therapy Dogs in Training

Waffle

Waffle is our youngest trainee, at only a few months old she wont be ready to meet out clients until she is over 1.

She is a rescue Labrador cross collie puppy, and so far is proving to be very responsive to training. But like all puppies she likes to chew on things and can get a bit over excited when lots of people are around. However the key requirements of a love of people and confidence in new surroundings are already in place!

Luna

Luna is a rescue Patterdale Terrier cross Jack Russel, she came into Michelle’s life nervous and unsure of the world, but has steadily built confidence and is becoming a happy terrier who loves to country walks and snuggling up for cuddles.

Luna can still be a little shy when meeting new people and in new places so is not ready to meet clients yet, but we know with Michelle’s hard work (and Hero’s positive influence) she will get there.
